The Korea Expressway Corporation announced on the 26th, “We have nominated Lee Go-eun, a setter at Pepper Savings Bank, as a compensation player for free agent (FA) Park Jung-ah.” Lee Go-eun wears the road construction uniform of her parents’ team for the first time in a year. Lee Go-eun was a franchise star who joined Korea Expressway Corporation through the rookie draft in the 2013-2014 season, but after obtaining FA qualification in March of last year, she transferred to Pepper Savings Bank on the condition of 3 years and 990 million won.
The Korea Expressway Corporation received 760 million won, 200% of Park Jung-ah’s annual salary (430 million won) last season, and Lee Go-eun as a reward player.
Hyundai E&C, which gave Hwang Min-kyung to IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, nominated outside heater Kim Joo-hyang as a compensation player. Hyundai Engineering & Construction said, “We determined that Kim Joo-hyang would be helpful to the team in terms of defense and offense.”
Kim Joo-hyang is a player who joined Hyundai E&C through the 2017-2018 season rookie draft. He wore an IBK uniform as a compensation player for Go Ye-rim, who joined Hyundai E&C as a free agent in 2019. IBK, which handed over middle blocker Kim Su-ji to Heungkuk Life Insurance, nominated middle blocker Lim Hye-rim.
