16 players have been packed to participate in the 4th AVC (Asian Volleyball Confederation) Challenger Cup.
On the 1st, the Korea Volleyball Association announced a list of 16 players who will participate in the 4th AVC Challenger Men’s Tournament to be held in Taipei, Taiwan from July 8 to 15 through the association’s official SNS.
The Korean men’s volleyball team, led by coach Lim Do-heon, infused a large number of young people in this tournament.

Compared to the list of the Seoul 2022 International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Volleyball Challenger Cup Men’s Tournament and the 2022 AVC Cup Men’s Tournament held last year, there is quite a difference. It is noteworthy that setter Han Seon-seon (Korean Air) and middle blocker Shin Young-seok (KEPCO), who support Korea, are missing. The names of young players such as Kim Myung-kwan, Kim Jun-woo, Park Jun-hyeok, and Lee Sang-hyun are captivating fans.
In addition, promising Jeong Han-yong, who performed brilliantly for Korean Air last season, was also named. Since it is Jeong Han-yong, who has been evaluated as a promising player to lead Korean volleyball since his amateur days, expectations are high on what he will show in international competitions.
Meanwhile, a total of 17 countries participated in this tournament, organized into 6 groups. Korea was placed in Group B with Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
