The Spanish media is reporting that Lee Kang-in, 22, has parted ways with Mallorca.
Mallorca will host Barça in the 38th round of the 2022-23 La Liga season at 1:30 a.m. ET on Friday at Estadi Mallorca Son Mossi in Mallorca, Spain. Mallorca is in 12th place with 47 points (13 wins, 8 draws, and 16 losses) and is looking to move into the top 10 with a win.
The match will be Lee’s last for Mallorca. Lee has been Mallorca’s ace in the hole this season. He has six goals and five assists in 35 La Liga games, reaching double-digit attacking points.
After proving his mettle at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, other clubs are even more interested in him. Aston Villa, Tottenham, and other English Premier League (EPL) teams have added him to their transfer lists. 메이저사이트
There was also interest from within La Liga. Atletico Madrid have been interested in Lee since last winter’s transfer window. More recently, it was reported that Real Betis were actively trying to sign him. Mallorca want Lee to stay, but this season is actually his last.
The Spanish publication Occhiario thinks the same. “Lee Kang-in is saying goodbye to Mallorca. The moment the league final ends, so does his magic. The greatest player to wear a Mallorca jersey in the last 10 years is leaving the club.”
“Lee, who has a buyout clause of between €20 million and €25 million, has played 72 games for Mallorca, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists. He has exploded this season and will be missed by Mallorca.”
