Manchester United’s projected best lineup has been revealed.
United are actively preparing for the 2023-24 season. The 2022-23 season was the first under Eric ten Haag. Having achieved some success, the club is looking to go one better in the new season.
To do so, they’ve been actively discussing reinforcements. From goalkeeper to defender, midfielder to striker, all positions have been mentioned.
We’ve already made one official. Chelsea’s franchise star, Mason Mount, is one of them. United announced on their website on Friday (June 5) that “Mount has joined United. His contract runs until the summer of 2028 with an option for a one-year extension,” the club officially announced on its website. The transfer fee is reportedly around 100 billion won.
United have high hopes for Mount. His shirt number is proof of that. His number is 7. The fact that the newcomer has been given the number worn by iconic players such as 안전놀이터추천 David Beckham, Eric Cantona, and Cristiano Ronaldo shows that the club has high expectations.
Of course, United’s recruitment drive is ongoing. Since Ronaldo’s departure, they’ve been working hard to recruit a striker who hasn’t been able to find a suitable replacement. World-class players such as Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, and Randal Kolo Moani have been mentioned as possible candidates, but none of them have been able to agree on a deal, and a new player has emerged as the frontrunner.
The man in question is Denmark’s Rasmus Hojlund, who has been described as the ‘next Holland’. He scored 10 goals and provided four assists for Atalanta in the 2022-23 season, making his presence felt and attracting interest from many big clubs.
United were proactive. They made two offers, both of which were rejected, but they managed to convince Atalanta to stay. Of course, they’re considering additional offers. According to Jacques Talbot, who has written for The Times and other British publications, a personal agreement has been reached with the player and he is positive about joining United.
Along with Hoi Loon, Andre Onana is another player who has been linked with a move to United. With David De Gea parting ways with the club and Dean Henderson likely to leave, the need for a goalkeeper is inevitable. The Red Devils have identified Onana as the right man for the job and are in talks. Nothing has been finalized yet, but the club is actively pursuing him.
Based on what we’ve seen so far, there’s a good chance that both Hooper and Onana could end up at United. The Mirror, a British publication, has released its predicted best 11 for the new season. It was based on a 4-3-3 formation with the addition of Hooper, Mount, and Onana. The other eight players were the same. Marcus Rashford, Anthony, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka filled the spots.
